Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Ngamba Island Chimpanzee
Airport pick and transfer by our company driver to your Hotel. Have lunch and freshen up before crossing the Lake by boat to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary arriving on time for chimpanzee feeding. A guide will brief you on what takes place at the sanctuary. You can enjoy views of a neighboring fishing village and expect to see incredible birdlife and other wildlife. You can either to swim at the equator or just sunbathe and relax before returning to Entebbe.

Day 2: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Past breakfast, your guide will pick you from the hotel and set off on the southbound road to Lake Mburo National park approximately 5 hours drive from Entebbe, have a stop over to look at the Royal Drum makers, and then the Equator and thereafter proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, having a game drive as you enter the Park arriving at Mihingo lodge in the afternoon. After lunch, you may decide to go for a boat trip or relax in your room. Lake Mburo is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland and other savanna species. For birders, this is one of the best places to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike among others.

Day 3: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, proceed to Bwindi passing through Kabale the Switzerland of Uganda with beautiful scenery and terraced farming arriving in the afternoon. Best known for its Mountain Gorillas, the Montane Forest also attracts spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemics including the African Green Broadbill, Bar Tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. You may decide to relax in the afternoon or take a nature walk which will lead you to the Munyaga Waterfall and a chance to see primates such as the Grey Cheeked Mangabey Blue Monkeys and others species.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest National Park
There is an early morning entry into the forest after breakfast and briefing on how to behave and handle these gentle giants. The rain forest offers spectacular, dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. Given the fact that gorilla tracking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will actually hike. The escapade of tracking the gorillas in the superb ecosystem of the park will be passionate for the adventurers. It may take 2 to 8 hours or more and one should be prepared to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. “The excitement of seeing the gorillas makes the trip worthwhile!”

Day 5: Second Gorilla Trek in Bwindi Forest/ Depart for Queen Elizabeth NP
After breakfast, go for another gorilla trek or take a nature walk into the forest to view various flora and fauna species. Get back for lunch and then depart the Impenetrable Forest for Queen Elizabeth National park via the Ishasha sector famous for its mysterious tree climbing Lions arriving in the evening. Freshen and relax around the pool.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Kyambura game lodge/Ihamba safari lodge.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Game Reserve
Have an early breakfast and then go for Chimp tracking, drive to the crater lakes in Kyambura Game Reserve to see thousands of colourful Lesser Flamingoes, as they feed in these soda lakes. After lunch, go for the afternoon launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. Expect to see Hippos huff and spray mere feet away from the boat, Buffalo linger in the shallows, a tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the shores. Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans, great and long-Tailed Cormorants, open-Billed Stork, African Jacana, Malachite and Pied Kingfishers are commonly seen. February and March offer spectacular sightings of some of the bird migrants.

Day 7: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning, we will have a game drive to the Kasenyi Kob mating ground area to look for Lion prides and other wildlife like the Uganda Kob that mate around this area.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Kyambura game lodge/Ihamba safari lodge.
Day 8: Return to Kampala
Return to Kampala with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara. Enroute, stopover at the equator to participate in the water experiment and get to know changes in your body weight while at the equator. Carry on and stop at the Mpambire drum village, a chance to buy yourself a locally made drum.
Continue to Kampala and catch up with your flight to Tanzania.
Day 9: Depart for Lake Manyara National Park
Depart for Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for lunch. Go for an afternoon game drive in this very beautiful park with magnificent views of the valley and the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 10: Game Viewing in Serengeti National Park
Past breakfast, proceed to Serengeti National Park through Olduvai Gorge an archeological site with game viewing en route. Carry packed Lunch. After lunch, go for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge/ Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Day 11: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
Have your breakfast and prepare to spend the day at Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a lunch break at the lodge and then continue exploring this large park, which is enjoined to the Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge/ Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Day 12: Leave for Ngorongoro National Park
Past breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater one of the natural wonders of the world, home to hundreds and thousands of plain animals. Arrive in time for lunch after which go for an afternoon game drive in the outstandingly formed crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge/Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge
Day 13: Safari Game Drives in Ngorongoro National Park
After an early breakfast, go in a 4*4 wheel drive vehicle 2000ft down the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the classic experience of a safari game drive on the floor of this scenic crater, the world’s largest caldera. Have a picnic lunch before retiring to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge/Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 14: Transfer to Arusha National Park
Have a leisurely breakfast before driving back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch.
