Overview
Enjoy Incredible gorilla tracking a main attraction in Mgahinga National park which protects part of Uganda Gorillas (Virungas). However, it is also one of the most dramatic park lieing on the northern slopes of Mt. Muhavura. The park experience two rainy seasons; March-May and September- November. October is the wettest month, with 250mm of rain and July the driest with just 10mm.

Detailed Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Kampala – Mgahinga National Park
Our guide will pick you from your hotel early in the morning and drive you west towards the Congo/ Rwandan borders. This is a 9-10 Hours drive to Kisoro Town with stopover at the Equator on Masaka highway and a lunch break in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center or Agrip Motel before proceeding to Kisoro arriving in the evening to check in at your Hotel “Travellers Inn”.This is an interesting drive to keep your eyes busy as you watch the people activities in urban towns and undulating hills and scenery
DAY 2: Gorilla Tracking in Mgahinga National Park
After an early morning breakfast and a briefing from the guide, you will start your journey for the Gorilla tracking which is the most exciting and memorable activity in the park. Where you get to learn the behaviors of these primates. It may take long depending on where the family is located. After the trekking go and have an overnight at Travellers Inn.
DAY 3: Return Trip to Kampala
After breakfast, start the journey back to Kampala where you will have lunch in Mbarara and also get to re- cross the equator in Masaka and may stop at the crafts village for shopping if there’s still time. Arriving late in the evening to check in at your hotel or drop off at the airport in case of Night flight departure.
