Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Arrival at Entebbe airport and transfer to Kampala city
Dinner and overnight at Holiday Express Hotel / Hotel Africana.
Day 2: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Have an early served breakfast and then leave for Murchison Falls national park North of Kampala via Masindi Town. Have a stop over at the top of the famous Murchison Falls, a point where the waters of the mighty Nile squeeze and burst majestically through a 7 meter gorge to an awesome 45m plunge producing a thunderous roar and at times forming a beautiful rainbow. You will spend the night nearby the Nile and enjoy the thrilling night animal music played by the laughing hyenas, roaring lions and the grunting of hippos. Dinner and overnight at Red Chili Rest Camp/ Nile camp.
Day 3: Game Drives in Murchison Falls National Park
After an early served breakfast, go for a game drive expecting to see elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalos, warthog, baboons and a huge variety of other wildlife. Have lunch at your Hotel before going for a launch trip up the river to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Expect to see Crocodiles, Hippos, Elephants, Buffaloes and a variety of bird life on the shores of the Nile.
Dinner and overnight at Red Chilly Rest Camp/Nile camp.
Day 4: Adventure Along the Nile
After an early morning breakfast, leave for an adventure visit on the Nile on a private boat trip, expect to see the Shoebill Stork and other beautiful birds. Return to the lodge for lunch and then transfer to Hoima Town.
Dinner and overnight at Kolping Hotel a superb viewing point.
Day 5: Travel to the Rwenzori Mountains
Have your Breakfast and then drive southwards down the western edge of Uganda, through winding agricultural lands. Villagers and their children will show their friendly nature by waving, get a glimpse of the Ugandan way of rural life before entering the Crater Lake region located underneath the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains.
Dinner and overnight at Primates Lodge /Chimpanzee Forest Guest House.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Wake up early and take a good view of the Mountains of the Moon before Breakfast. After breakfast, go into the chimpanzee forests of Kibale National Park with your walking shoes on as we move through bush and jungle to spend time with our interesting relatives, watching them swing through the trees, expect to see Chimps, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Blue; Black faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. After lunch go for an optional nature walk through a nearby jungle and swamplands.

Day 7: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Past breakfast, drive to one of the features of Volcanicity, take a closer look at the caves, the best home for Bats and Lizards, you can take photos after which connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have lunch and then go for a relaxed guided walk at the Mweya Peninsular or go for a game drive.

Day 8: Game Drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early served breakfast, leave for a game drive in the park with high expectations of seeing Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopards, Spotted Hyenas, Elephants, Antelopes and the elusive Giant Forest Hog in this park. Get back for lunch at your Hotel. After lunch, take a unique launch trip on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The area is believed to be the biggest Hippo concentration in Africa. The launch cruise offers an excellent platform for taking photos.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Simba lodge.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge
Past Breakfast, go for chimp-tracking in the Kyambura Gorge. Continue through the National Park and enter the southern region of the park known as Ishasha famous for tree-climbing lions, driving underneath the huge thorn trees is an experience you will never forget.
Dinner and overnight at Buhoma community bandas/ Buhoma Lodge / Gorilla resort.
Day 10: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Have an early served breakfast and then go for briefing by UWA officials. Carry packed lunch. Trek into the green cloaked and misty mountains to find the world’s rarest primate, the mountain gorilla. Take a lunch break and then have optional activities like taking a community walk or visiting the Batwa (pygmies).
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 11: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Past breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park via Kanungu, Rukungiri and Ntungamo Towns. Arrive in Mbarara Town for a lunch break, continue to Rwonyo park headquarters through the Sanga gate renown for Zebras, expect to see Eland, Antelope, as well as Zebra, Topi, Impala, and a variety of birds. This is an ideal place for walking safaris. The five lakes within the park attract Hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of water birds. After lunch, go for a game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo Tented Camp / Arcadia Cottages / Mantana Tented Camp.
Day 12: Explore Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, take a nature walk, explore the park around Rwonyo, culminating in a visit to the natural salt lick frequented by wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch after which go for a boat trip on Lake Mburo, watch out for crocodiles and hippopotamus during the 2-hour voyage, as well as birds including pelicans, heron, cormorant and fish eagle and perhaps the rare shoebill stork.
Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo Tented Camp / arcadia Cottages / Mantana Tented lodge.
Day 13: Return to Kampala
Have a leisurely breakfast and then drive to Kampala through the Nshara gate. Make a stopover at the equator for photos, participate in the water experiment and get to know changes in your body weight while at the equator, proceed to Mpambire drum village for souvenirs and a chance to buy a locally made drum.
Continue to Kampala arriving in the evening for an overnight stay or catch up with your flight home
