Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi National Park
Our Company guide will pick you from the hotel early in the morning to start your journey South- West to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Its a 9-10 Hours drive but with much to keep your eyes busy on the beautiful landscapes, undulating terrains and human activities in urban traversed centers. You will have stopovers at the Equator and for Lunch in Mbarara town but with fredom to request any stop over for photography. Arrive in the evening to check in at Buhoma bandas for dinner and night stay.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
With an early breakfast, you will be picked at 7:15 am for the briefing at the UWA center done to enlighten trackers of the necessary precautions they need to take upon encountering the giant mountain Gorillas. You will carry packed lunch and water along since the tracking may take 3-8 Hours depending on where the mobile Gorilla family allocated is sighted. But there will be breaks to help catch your breath and take some water besides the lunch break to recoup your energy. After the tracking you will be dropped off at your Lodge for dinner and night stay. However ensure your camera batteries and memory cards are in shape to capture all the moments with the Gorillas.
Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart from Bwindi early morning after breakfast and proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park to view the wildlife. its an endored game park with lots of animals and birds to sight, if you have some binoculars please carry them along. famous for the tree climbing lions of Ishasha, large elephant and Bufallo herds, leopards besides others. After the Ishasha sector game drive will stop for a picnic lunch enroute before rushing for the boat cruise on Kazinga channel which also has epic moments to see. After you will retire at you Pumba cottages on the park gorge
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and return back to Kampala
Wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast then go for chimpanzee trekking at the Kyambura Gorge/Kalinzu Forest reserves. After the trekking, start your journey back to Kampala arriving in the late evening but with stopver for Lunch in Mbarara.
