3 Days 2 Nights Gorilla safari Bwindi Park
Gorilla safaris caters for even those with limited time during their visit to Uganda as its a humbling encounter experience in the thick jungle forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National park. Watching the giant Gorillas just a few meters away as they eat, rest, play and bond. Note your allocated one hours to interact and take photos with the Gorillas just not to be disruptive to their nature existence
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has four sectors for Gorilla tracking with each exhibiting a uniqueness of the habituated gorilla families. Gorilla tracking may involve some hikes which is great for body exercise as you locate the family allocated but with stops to catch your breath, take some water to hydrate and the lunch break.
Ensure your permits are reserved at least 3 months in advance for the desired tracking sector just to be sure of uninterrupted travel schedule to other next destinations for your travel programs.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in South Western Uganda. This takes average 9-10 Hours drive with stopover at the Equator on Kampala-Masaka road for a coffee break and photography and a lunch break at Igongo cultural center or Agip Motel in Mbarara before further proceeding to Buhoma sector via Rukungiri. Arrive in the evening at Buhoma community Bandas for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking expedition
With early breakfast at 6:30 am, head to the UWA Briefing center which starts at 7:30 am to take you through the procedures and precautions needed during the tracking. The tracking starts at 8:00 am after allocating the gorilla family to track since only a maximum of 8 persons are allowed to track a family and the tracking often takes 3-8 hours depending on where the Gorilla family is located. Be prepared with comfortable garments and hiking shoes as it can be slippery in the jungle, raining and to protect against insect bites but ensure your camera batteries are fully charged. Later you will be dropped off at your Buhoma Lodge for Dinner
Day 3: Return Travel to Kampala
Set off after breakfast for Kampala with stopover for Lunch enroute in Mbarara arriving in the evening for either drop off at the Entebbe Airport in case of booked night flight or at your Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
