Itinerary
DAY 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Pick up by our guide from your hotel after breakfast and drive you to Murchison Falls through the famous Luwero triangle which makes the journey an interesting one. Lunch will be at Masindi and go ahead with your journey to the park and on arrival; you will go straight to the top of the falls where you will get to view the ravishing sight of the white colored water of the longest river forcing its way through the rock producing a thunderous sound. This is a very clear view of the park and u will get to see a number of animals like hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and many others. Dinner and over night at Paraa Safari lodge / Red Chilli.
DAY 2: Game Viewing in Murchison Falls National Park
You will have a game drive early in the morning after break fast, where you will have beautiful scenery of the different wild life in the park like, elephant, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, Hartebeests and other animals. After having lunch at the lodge, you will a boat ride at the bottom of the falls this time and you will get a chance to view animals like crocodiles, elephants, hippos and birds at the river shores. Have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
DAY 3: Murchison Falls – Kibale National Park
Leave Murchison falls national park for Kibale national park the home of most primates especially the chimpanzees early morning after breakfast. You will have lunch enroute and on arrival to the park you will proceed and go to see the “Amabeere Ga Nyina mwiru” at Nyakasura and then have your dinner and overnight at Mountains of the moon/ Primate Lodge/ Ndali lodge.
DAY 4: Chimpanzee Trekking
Early morning after breakfast, proceed to the Kyambura gorge for the chimpanzee trekking and get to see these lovely primates. During the walk you may, be able to see other animals like the white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, grey- cheeked mangabey and others. After lunch, go for a walk at the Bigodi swamp for a scenic game view. Overnight and dinner at the lodge.
DAY 5: Kibale Forest Park – Kampala
Early morning, after breakfast depart for Kampala arriving in the evening.
